Today, March 2 at 11:00 the photo exhibition "Take Care" was inaugurated at the Faculty of the Faculty of Law.
The photographs, which can be visited until 15 March, are made by adolescents Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI) of San Javier.
The girls themselves are the protagonists of snapshots, to send messages of self care and good treatment.
The exhibition is twofold: on the one hand as a way to visualize situations that are part of their daily experiences and on the other the therapeutic goal.
The idea came from the girls themselves after several sessions working the importance of good relationship with themselves.
The initial proposal was why not use the body that we hurt and mistreat?
Hence a program presented in "IMAGINE San Javier", a festival aimed at young creators in the field of artistic creation was designed.
This exhibition is part of "Prevention and Intervention Program in emotional relationships in dating with young teens" that has been carried out since 2011. The exhibition is organized by the Directorate General of Women in collaboration with the Autonomous Community Murcia region and the Unit for Equality between Women and Men of the University of Murcia, and is made by the City of San Javier and San Javier CAVI.
