The Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro Corchón, this morning the bases four competitions environmental education program of the City of Murcia.
The Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta is developing a specific program of protection, awareness and dissemination of the Huerta de Murcia, which seeks to promote in all areas, including education, a set of values ​​that shape our identity.
"The 20th edition of the drawing contest for schoolchildren with environmental issues, including this year a new written category, consisting of an essay, story or poetry, which will focus this year on La Huerta de Murcia, Our Heritage," said the head of Town planning.
Navarro has detailed may participate in this contest of drawing and writing, children students of Primary Education and ESO enrolled in any school, public, private or concerted municipality of Murcia Center.
In the form of drawing, all students enrolled levels 1 may participate, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Primary and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Cycle ESO enrolled in any of the schools in the municipality of Murcia, establishing 5 categories for the competition:
First: First Cycle of Primary Education (1st and 2nd).
Second: Second Cycle of Primary Education (3rd and 4th).
Third: Third Cycle of Primary Education (5th and 6th).
Fourth: First Cycle of ESO (1st and 2nd).
Fifth: Second Cycle of ESO (3 and 4).
The drawings will be presented in DIN A3 size (29'70 cm x 42'00 cm) and may take the both vertically and horizontally.
They are color, style and free techniques, and can be used any coloring material (crayons, markers ...)
For mode Writing, story or poetry, all students attending 5th and 6th Primary Education can participate besides students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Cycle ESO enrolled in any of the schools in the municipality of Murcia, which will be grouped into three categories.
First: Third Cycle of Primary Education (5th and 6th).
Second: First Cycle of ESO (1st and 2nd).
Third: Second Cycle of ESO (3 and 4).
Editors, story or poetry, will have a maximum extension of a DIN-A4 sheet to one side and handwritten.
Only work must be submitted per child / a, for each of the ways in which they can participate.
The theme of the work must be related to "La Huerta de Murcia.
Our Heritage ".
Regarding the presentation of the work in each of them appear visibly a slogan or title, which will also go on the outside of a sealed envelope.
Each work must complete a form with the following information:
Slogan or title of the work.
Full name of student / a.
Age.
Course it belongs.
School, address and telephone number.
The works will be anonymous, therefore should not be included in them any data of the author or school, these data inputs which is inserted into an envelope sheet (one per student) and only be identified with the work through the title or slogan .
The envelopes containing the works will be presented at the Department of Environment Planning and Huerta, Environment Service, C / Abenarabi, No. 1 - A, 4th floor, office 21, Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 14.00 hours, until the day 6 May 2016 inclusive.
Each center will collect the work done and submit a maximum of 10 per category of the competition, which will deliver envelopes (one for Drafting mode and another with the drawings, both separated by categories), indicating that the name of the school.
Once presented selected by each school, which will make a first selection work, the choice of the winners will be made on a proposal from a jury appointed by the City Council.
He personally notify schools, they will extend to the winning students, the jury.
The jury composed Councilman Huerta, the Councillor for Education, as well as various municipal technicians, media and municipal level associations related to the theme of the contests.
Awards
Both for the Drawing Contest as for Drafting the following prizes are established: a first, second and third prize category and competition, consisting of a diploma and a prize for the author of the drawing and / or writing, plus a consisting of a set of books worth € 160 and commemorative diploma for college student whose prize has won first prize in any of the contests.
The awards ceremony will take place at a public event in municipal offices, if possible to coincide with World Environment Day.
