"To understand the Burial of the Sardine must be de Murcia" and so has explained the Mayor, José Ballesta, in his speech to close the presentation of the poster and magazine 2016, held this morning in the Hall of City Hall Annex building.
They have previously taken the floor to the President of the Association Sardinera, Gregorio González, the Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the author of the poster, Juan Antonio Fernandez Labaña, who has said of his work that is "a window to the magical night Burial of Sardina- and Carlos Valcarcel, president of the Confraternity of the Blood and sardinero old, who has been responsible for presenting the publication, which this year has reached 35 edition.
At the end of the ceremony, attendees were addressed to the Plaza de Romea, accompanied by a group of hachoneros, to participate in a tasting meat pies, beer and melon, along with hundreds of Murcia who have come.
