Councillor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, attended yesterday by the rector José Orihuela, presentation of the new association of bicycle users of the University of Murcia and logo that will represent it.
To choose a contest to which 24 proposals were submitted was performed.
Finally chose Prats created by Miranda van der Ham and work of Juan Antonio Alcaraz Ortega and Mariano Montesinos was recognized
To all of them, the Department of Transport, through the Office of the bike, has rewarded them with a bonus system MUyBICI public bike rental.
This UMUenBici Association recently established and welcomes all bicycle users of the University of Murcia, it has also applied to become part of the Municipal Observatory of the Bicycle.
Councilwoman Lola Sanchez stressed "the importance in promoting the use of bicycles carrying out partnerships like this" and "thanks to its promoters and members for having launched this collective".
