The Department of Education, University Relations and Heritage, directed by Rafael Gomez Carrasco, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Institute Alfonso X El Sabio to 37 of his students continue studying the International Baccalaureate taught at the center.
In this School, both students, and teachers, using research as a regular and essential methodology.
In this way, students will be well prepared for university entrance, handled literature sources, draw up their agendas and teamwork exhibited.
The objective of the agreement is that the city of Murcia collaborate in financing the teaching International Baccalaureate in the Institute Alfonso X the Wise, who has spent 10 years being imparted, which is the only authorized the municipality to provide such Baccalaureate center.
The Councillor for Education explained that "the International Baccalaureate program, reconciles this with the Spanish High School High School, culminating in the Diploma International Baccalaureate, once passed the exams."
With this agreement, the Institute combines activities of the International Baccalaureate with promotional activities of our heritage and cultural events such as: assistance to museums and exhibitions, natural environments, as well as participation and attendance at international conferences.
The grant has been awarded since 2006 and specifically, this year is 5,000 euros
