Two views of a huertano and orchard this morning to receive those who come through the Plaza Belluga.
The characters, installed at the entrance to the Tourist Office, will be an attraction for tourists who come to the city and, at the same time embody a close and next to all Murcia figures.
Coinciding with the I Week of the Garden, the City Council this afternoon launch a campaign on social networks (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) to choose the names of each, choosing between several proposals: Fulgencio (Pencho) Gines, Patricio and Perete, for huertano;
and Carmen, Fuensanta, Josefina (Fina) and Remedios (Reme) for the orchard.
The survey will be active until next Sunday, with #semanadelahuerta label.
Jesus Pacheco, Councillor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, promoter of the initiative, explained that the goal is to "provide an opportunity for visitors to discover two popular and highly representative character of our celebrations and traditions that symbolize our roots, at the same time for Murcia are hallmarks of our character. "
Both figures are located at the entrance to the Tourist Office Square Belluga.
