Spanish Network of Healthy Universities (REUS), a group of institutions to promote health, welfare and social responsibility in universities started in the region with a meeting in the headquarters Convalescence-rector of the University of Murcia - at which launched the Healthy University Project.
This program, the result of the agreement between the educational institution and the Ministry of Health, will develop specific actions and activities of health promotion and disease prevention.
The meeting also served to form the steering and monitoring committee, responsible for ensuring compliance with the plan, and the technical committee whose role will be to implement the project at the University of Murcia.
The meeting was attended by, among other representatives of service agencies and members of the plan, the rector of Studies and Employment, Maribel Sanchez-Mora, and the coordinator of Project Healthy University of Murcia University, Professor of Psychology Eva Herrera .
