The rector of the University of Murcia and president of the Sector Committee of Secretaries General of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) is optimistic about the changes in these institutions during the meeting held by this court in Santander.
During the meeting, held at the Palacio de la Magdalena, has not ignored either Cobacho noted that Spanish universities are going through a difficult time due to changes required by the convergence process and the lack of funding.
According to the rector of the University of Murcia, these institutions have changed, "for good" in recent years, but added that "much work still remains to be done."
Among these challenges, highlighted the Masters for the practice of law and the attorney, the reforms of the statutes of the universities and the regulation of student discipline.
The meeting also had the presence of Secretary General of the University, Joaquín Lomba.
