The works completed by the end of 2013 and may start imminently.
The total cost of rehabilitation is 1 million euros.
To finance it, the City will provide 240,000 euros, 433,000 euros and 100,000 euros Bishopric CajaMurcia Foundation.
The remaining 226,000 euros will be paid by the Bishop, owner of the church.
The Mayor has also advanced the interests of the Autonomous Community of collaborating with their resources, through the Ministry of Culture, in the year 2011.

The desire to preserve and rehabilitate the historic and artistic heritage of neighborhoods and districts has been a policy pursued by the mayor, Miguel Angel House, which has meant that in the last decade, the City Council allocated more than 3.9 billion euros finance work to restore churches and chapels in the municipality.
