The University of Murcia is one of the 133 higher education institutions from 16 Spanish speaking countries, together with the Instituto Cervantes, have joined the SICELE Project, which is committed to support and recognize the proficiency certifications in Spanish bearing a SICELE.
With mutual recognition of certificates of mastery of the Spanish language to speakers of other languages, SICELE network aims to increase the importance of Spanish in the world and promote interest in learning by students from all countries, thus satisfying the need they have of their knowledge to be assessed by language certification services of quality.
The signing of the multilateral convention was held in the framework of the Second Meeting of Governing Universia, which was held in the Mexican city of Guadalajara and attended by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho.
