Stefan Schulz, a professor at the University of Freiburg (Germany), presented this week at the School of Informatics, University of Murcia, a technique that works the research team and could result in better representation of clinical data.
Currently, clinical data are not adequately represented, which makes computer systems can use them correctly.
Initiatives such as Schulz intended to codify these data, usually in natural language, using a common vocabulary.
This new coding system would require greater efficiency in hospital management and data analysis, which would serve to better diagnoses, make information more accessible and eliminate ambiguity in documenting and communicating medical data.
