Murcia City Council, through the Department of Health and Human Services, which runs Fulgencia Cervantes, will allocate a total of 292,496 euros to subsidize the projects undertaken by various associations and foundations in the town of Murcia.
Rasinet Foundation will receive a contribution of 175,000 euros for the development of the "Housing and Immigration."
The program's goal is to provide housing for the immigrant community the equal accessibility to decent housing through a search engine to buy or rent.
It also creates a space for coordination and information among public and private entities to help improve the intervention in the social integration of immigrants and host society through multiculturalism.
Another task is the implementation, through new technologies, a system that allows foreign people seeking housing from across the Spanish geography.
Diocesan Caritas Association of Murcia will be supported with € 75,000 for the project Cayama.
The project objectives are:
- Development of children and families by raising awareness of the importance of incorporating children to school.
- Development of coexistence and relationship skills that enable proper insertion to active school and social environment from their own cultural identity.
- Create an emotional reference space for children where their basic needs, training, food, entertainment and affection.
- To encourage families to see the importance of having their children attend school regularly, in order to eliminate truancy.
Neri per Immigrants Association also receives a financial contribution to carry out the poryecto Infrastructure, equipment and maintenance center for immigrants Neri and services activity and collective housing.
On the other hand, it has also given its approval to the granting of financial assistance of EUR 14,996 for the Cancer Association of Murcia.
