Humberto Antonio Martinez Garrido, Chemical Engineering student at the University of Murcia, today received the award from the company supplies industrial machinery Vigaceros for their final project, an award, worth 2,400 euros, announces the Regional Federation of Employers Metal de Murcia (FREMM).
This student won the award for a paper entitled "Characterization and diagnosis of faults in flexible drive, which provides a methodology to prevent failures in the production of metallurgical companies.
The rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, spoke in the ceremony held in the building of Convalescence, the need of the universities closer to the business world to strengthen the industrial sector.
At the award ceremony was also attended by president of the FREMM and member of the Board of the university, Juan Antonio Muñoz, and the manager of Vigaceros SA, Juan Albacete, who highlighted the winning paper and the innovative application possibilities for metalworking industries field.
The winning project was supervised by Professor Department of Information Engineering and Communications Felix Cesareo Gómez de León.
