Responsible purchasing policy for forest products promoted by the city of Murcia is a committed to the environment has not gone unnoticed.

Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Environment and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cacho will receive the award at a ceremony that will also include the presence of the Director of Conservation of WWF Spain, Enrique Segovia, and the head of the Campaign Rainforest Cities WWF Spain, Elena Domínguez.
City Council regular suppliers of wood products and paper, local business sector, responsible for municipal services and representatives of other local authorities in the Region have been invited to the event.
After delivery of the award to Mayor of Murcia will start a round table on the role of government in the conservation of forests.
The appointment will be next Tuesday from 10 am in the auditorium at City Hall Annex Building.
