Work on the Youth Access Center, located in Juan de Borbón with Miguel Indurain will continue shortly.
The Board of Governors approved the specifications for the procurement of work for the foundation and structure of this infrastructure.
The works have a lead time of six months.
The Youth Access Centre is the first of the municipality that will not have any kind of architectural barriers, and will be fully accessible to people with any type of disability.
The planned investment is EUR 1,100,000, funded by the city of Murcia (950,000 euros) and the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) (150,000 euros).
This work is being conducted by the municipal workshop rehabilitation of social and cultural heritage 'center accessible to youth, phase II', which involved 45 students.
Specialties performing students are painting, stucco and finish of construction; masonry and restoration, carpentry, woodwork, metalwork and wrought iron, gardening and the environment, electricity and renewables, and plumbing, heating and solar thermal energy.
In the previous workshop was held the suitability of the land and facilities undertaken.
The center will have an auditorium, rehearsal rooms and recording studio, multipurpose building with a cafeteria, rooms for associations, administrative areas, training rooms, computer and video editing.
