The Seventh Forum on Quality Assessment of Research and Higher Education discussed until June 18 in Murcia on the new organization of university and the start date of the current situation of European Convergence in Spain.
Professor of Psychology at the University of Granada Gualberto Buela is the director of this forum, aimed at those responsible for evaluation of quality in higher education and which counts among its speakers with such personalities as the general director of University Policy, Ministry of Education , Juan José Moreno, President of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), Federico Gutiérrez-Solana, or the director general of Research Ministry of Science and Innovation, José Manuel Fernandez, among others.
The conference discussed the status of R & D in Spain, the scientific and technical research at the CSIC and the classification and ranking of universities.
Also be responsible for the university plans to boost Research and Quality, will discuss the selection of teachers and staff hired and will discuss the status of the doctorate in Spain and the European Union.
The forum will be an important part of practice sessions that teach you to write a research project or how to write and publish a scientific paper, and provide tools for assessing the quality of scientific research.
The inauguration, held today in the Hotel Silken Siete Coronas, a place that will accommodate the different days of the forum was chaired by the Minister for Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marín, the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho; CRUE president, Federico Gutiérrez-Solana, and the director general of the Ministry of Science Policy, Juan José Moreno.
