| This is a virtual tour to learn about marine fauna, part of the educational program # MurciaMiCiudadEnseà ± a | The Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools, Bel�n L�pez, has held a telematic meeting with the students of the Infanta Cristina de Puente Tocinos school on the occasion of the virtual visit to the University Aquarium, within the educational program # MurciaMiCiudadEnseà ± a 2020-2021. It is an online tour of the marine fauna where the technical staff of the Aquarium shows the students, from 1st and 2nd grade of Primary Education, the different environments of coral reefs and fish from different seas and oceans of the world, including the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, represented in tanks of greater or lesser size. â € œThanks to new technologies, students have the opportunity to enter the depths of the marine environment and learn about some of the animals that inhabit it, such as clown fish, anemones, stonefish, sharks, mantas and seahorses, ”Bel�n L�pez highlighted. Likewise, the visit helps to discover this natural environment, see what it is like, what organisms live and how they interact in it, such as symbiotic relationships, food and adaptation to the environment such as camouflage. The Aquarium is an installation promoted by the University of Murcia that involves the approach of the maximum teaching and research institution of the Region to the general public, showing research works that are carried out cape. A total of 1,235 Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate Education students from 23 educational centers in the municipality have signed up for this activity that takes place virtually during the 2020-2021 academic year.
The visits take place on Wednesdays and last approximately one hour.
