| The Councilor for Education and Infant Schools, Bel�n L�pez, informs the directors of the municipal schools on the latest modifications to the educational program due to Covid-19 | The Councilor for Early Childhood Education and Schools, Bel�n L�pez, has held a meeting by videoconference this morning with the management teams of the municipal schools to inform them of the changes to the educational program â € ˜Murcia Mi Ciudad Enseà ± aâ € ™ on the occasion of the latest measures adopted against Covid-19. In this way, the program prioritizes during the next two weeks the activities that can be carried out in a virtual way, such as visits to the aquarium of the University of Murcia and the Archaeological Museum of Murcia. On the other hand, face-to-face activities, such as visits and outings to natural environments or exhibition spaces, will be postponed for the next few months, according to the assessment of the pandemic.
These are those programmed at the Paraje de la Contraparada, El Valle and Carrascoy Regional Park, El Planetario y Sala del Agua, Terra Natura, The Town Hall, Ram�n Gaya Museum, the Murcia Casino and the Circo Theater, among others. â € œâ € ™ Murcia Mi Ciudad Enseà ± aâ € ™ began this course with a program of activities adapted to Covid-19 and subject to the evolution of the pandemic.

Specifically, the offer is aimed at the 73,754 students in Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate, belonging to the 188 educational centers in the municipality.
Of these, 126 are in districts and 62 in the urban area. The Education Service, dependent on the Department of Education and Early Childhood Schools, works on adapting the program to the current situation of Covid-19, in accordance with current regulations and health requirements, giving priority to those actions that will guarantee the safety of all students. In this way, the priorities this year have been the development of �activities in the open air and those that can be taught virtually, as well as proposals in wide and open spaces that guarantee ventilation.
All face-to-face activities will be developed in small groups.
