The College has appealed to the Murcia City Council to include a geotechnical study in the works to install anti-noise screens in the West Round in the El Ranero neighborhood of Murcia.

This geotechnical study prior to the work not only aims to guarantee traffic safety in the West Round, but also aims to avoid "potential budgetary deviations." In its letter to the city council, the College of Geologists recalls that the inclusion of a geotechnical study of the land on which the work is to be carried out is mandatory in accordance with the Public Sector Contract Law (Article 233.3 LCSP), provided it is not incompatible with the nature of said work, as is the case in this specific case.
