The Department of Sports and Health, through the municipal Vaccination Service, thus continues the campaign that has already been developed in the Center for People with Disabilities of Churra, in the Jes Foundation s Abandoned, in the Home of Betania, in the Little Sisters of the Poor and in sheltered centers The municipal Vaccination Service, dependent on the Department of Sports and Health, and in collaboration with the General Directorate of Public Health, continues to administer the vaccine against COVID-19 in different township locations. Thus, this afternoon we will proceed to carry out these tasks in the Home for the Elderly Home of Nazaret in Rinc n de Seca. Since Sunday, December 27, the municipal Vaccination Service has been in charge of carrying out this campaign at the Center for People with Disabilities of Churra, at the Jes s Abandonado Foundation, at the Home of Betania, in the Little Sisters of the Poor and in sheltered centers. It should be noted that in all these centers the response of residents and workers has been very high, with a vaccination rate higher than 95%. The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello insists on "the importance and need to receive this vaccine since it is the only thing that will allow us to fight the coronavirus and, therefore, and overcome the current situation." The General Directorate of Public Health has requested the collaboration of the Municipal Health Service to participate in the logistics necessary to undertake the vaccination campaign.
