It is a project led by the Municipal Health Service, dependent on the Department of Sports and Health, directed by Felipe Coello, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity, emotional well-being and safety in the environment among women and families of reproductive age. The NAOS Strategy Awards are intended to recognize and give greater visibility to those programs, interventions or other initiatives that, among their objectives, contribute to the prevention of obesity, through the promotion of a healthy diet and / or of the practice of regular physical activity. For the mayor, "these awards can also favor the application in other areas or places, stimulate the start-up of new projects, allow the identification of 'good practices' and promote cooperation between the administrations and the different social and economic actors to promote healthy habits ".
