More than 7,000 people have visited the exhibition, which will remain open until January 10 The exhibition 'Chromotopia', by the artist Ranier Splitt, organized by the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts in the Sala Ver nicas, in Murcia, reaches its final stretch and will close to the public the next January 10.
So far, more than 7,000 people have enjoyed the show since it opened in mid-September.
The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Juan Antonio Lorca, indicated that "the response of the public to the Rainer Splitt exhibition is exceeding our expectations, taking into account the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus, which limits the capacity to ten people at a time to guarantee a satisfactory experience and maintain social distancing.
Without a doubt, the work developed by the artist in Ver nicas, where he breaks the dimensional limit of traditional painting , is one of the 2020 exhibitions ".
The space of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts brings together 33 works, including a large central piece, the largest pouring made by Ranier Splitt, which acts as the common thread and union of the entire exhibition.
Measuring 11.52x3.39 meters, the black pouring in the center of the room is a tribute to the use of this color by Vel zquez, who used it to give volume to his painting and for the figures to meet the viewer.
The sample includes pieces created this year for the exhibition, as well as emblematic works of the artist made during this century.
Rainer Splitt's work has gradually evolved from 1988, when he started with three-dimensional objects, to his first poured paintings in 1990.
Likewise, the assembly takes advantage of the closing area of ??the old convent church to collect a series of smaller and more intimate works that invite reflection and reflection.
In this space there is also another smaller Splitt spill.
