| The Murcia City Council supports with 48,000 euros the work of social care that is provided from this center to people in situation of vulnerability | The Cepaim Foundation carries out important work to promote the social inclusion of people who present a situation of vulnerability from the Humanitarian Reception Center that is active in the Beniaján district. The Murcia City Council actively participates in the financing of the support policies that are provided from this facility through a grant worth 48,000 euros with which the social care programs provided to users are paid. The department that has enabled this economic line is the Department of Social and Family Rights, whose head, Pilar Torres, visited the Cepaim center in Beniaján this morning.
There, he announced that most of the users are between 25 and 45 years old and are of Moroccan, Algerian and Ivorian origin.
This year the social inclusion of 25 people has been favored. Accommodation, meals and individualized itineraries The Humanitarian Reception Center aims to welcome people, mainly immigrants in a situation of vulnerability and / or social exclusion, through accommodation and food places, accompanied by interdisciplinary work based on the development of individualized itineraries, whose methodology allows the participation and empowerment of people in their own process. The mayor Pilar Torres, has stated that "the work carried out by the Cepaim Foundation is of paramount importance to reverse the situation of deprivation and lack of social care suffered by dozens of people, who are cared for in its facilities, where they receive training and advice to manage to redirect their situation in all areas.

" The Prevention and Social Insertion Section of the Department of Social Rights and Family maintains a work of coordination and collaboration with the Cepaim Foundation in order to articulate a common response to referrals made to the Center by municipal technicians. This year, within the achievements obtained thanks to the monitoring of the individualized itineraries that apply to each one of the people received, it is possible to highlight the completion of 9 registrations, the obtaining of 6 health cards and the obtaining and / or renewal of 10 residence authorizations and the respective passports. Inclusion in regulated training In addition, the incorporation of 3 users to regulated training has been facilitated and all have successfully completed their Vocational Training studies.
The students were enrolled in two different courses: one on Carpentry and Furniture given by the Columbares Association and another on Hairdressing and Aesthetics given by the Beto Association.
Given that they met the objectives agreed with the host team of the entity, they were able to remain in the device until they successfully completed their training. As for the people who have requested care this year, 49 of them are under 25 years old (74.24%), 12 people are between 25 and 35 years old (18.18%), 2 people are between 36 and 45 years old (3.03%), and 3 people are older than 45 years (4.55%). This year there has been an increase in the number of applicants for reception in a regular situation, as well as an increase in people over 36 years of age among the people finally received in the care facility organized by Fundación Cepaim. Cepaim's commitment to the acquisition of skills for employment and the prioritization of profiles with the capacity for a job placement in the short / medium term has made it possible for two of the people received to have a job during their stay at the resort and others to have come out of it more likely to do so; Despite the obstacles posed by the socio-health crisis caused by the expansion of the coronavirus.
