| The Department of Social Rights and Family finances the Comprehensive Reception Program for J with 10,000 euros venes Extutelados | The joint work carried out by the Murcia City Council, through the Department of Social Rights and Family, and the ACCEM entity has allowed the implementation of services that have provided social care in the municipality of Murcia to 1,689 people who are in situation of risk of social exclusion. This information was made known this morning by the mayor Pilar Torres during a visit she made to the facilities of the ACCEM headquarters in Murcia on Ricardo Gil Street.
The councilor has known first-hand the important work carried out from this association. The department directed by the mayor Torres subsidizes with 10,000 euros the content of the Comprehensive Reception Program for Ex-ward Young People.
This line of action temporarily and comprehensively addresses the basic housing, maintenance and health needs of this group so that its members can start a process of socio-labor integration that facilitates their insertion into society.
The young people who participate in this program are in a vulnerable situation and ACCEM works to prevent and alleviate the deterioration, as well as to promote their autonomy.
This year 33 young people have participated. During her visit to the ACCEM facilities in Murcia, the mayor Pilar Torres praised "the excellent work carried out by social entities such as ACCEM in the care, help and support offered to the most vulnerable groups in society.

During 2020, 272 people were served (144 men and 128 women). ACCEM also runs the legal assistance service for applicants and beneficiaries of international protection.
460 actions have been carried out on 343 people, related to orientation, individual and group information, assistance and legal monitoring in the processing of international protection files. Psychological care programs ACCEM workers also provide psychological care for applicants and beneficiaries of international protection.
Psychological care is considered as something fundamental to favor the integration process of these people, offering them the necessary psychological support, not exclusively to elaborate their migratory grief process and achieve their adaptation to a new and foreign environment, but also to overcome or alleviation of the negative effects that his previous history and the flight from his country may have had.
From this service, 754 care has been carried out, among which is individual psychological care and families and the provision of psychosocial workshops in which 75 people (15 men and 71 women) have participated. In addition, the language learning service for applicants and beneficiaries of international protection aims to promote the learning of the Spanish language and other co-official languages ??as a basic instrument to facilitate the integration of the group of refugees in the host society, to At the same time, it is possible to exchange cultural codes in a positive and critical way in order to overcome prejudices and stereotypes.
From the service, 349 people have been assisted in the different workshops and training courses. ACCEM also launches the Ariadna Network - Social and labor integration for refugees.
It is based on the design and development of individualized integrated itineraries for socio-labor insertion for applicants and beneficiaries of international protection.
Companies are offered advice on asylum matters, labor intermediation work and selection processes through the Placement Agency.
From this service, 548 people have been attended during 2020.
