The new interuniversity degree represents an experience of collaboration, unprecedented at the degree level, between the two public universities of the Region and will be developed in one of the emerging sectors and most demanded by today's society , aspiring to train future professionals who are experts in the capture, analysis, visualization and interpretation of all types of data.
The commitment to the degree in Occupational Therapy, on the other hand, is a logical consequence of the teaching and research work carried out at the Lorca Campus.
With this degree, the UMU aims to train professionals with sufficient training to describe, identify, prevent, treat and compare health problems that can be responded to from Occupational Therapy, with a comprehensive approach to people with occupational dysfunctions or risk of suffering them.
On the other hand, the agreement that allows the double degree in Law by the UMU and the Universidad Estadual do Norte do Paran has also been approved; a curriculum planned for six places at the UMU and six at the Brazilian university in which the students will take 180 credits at the university of origin and the rest at the destination university.
