| It can be viewed from 5.30 pm | The Murcia City Council's Christmas Carol opens this afternoon, at 5.30 p.m. The audiovisual show, which last year was developed on the façade of the Town Hall through video mapping and was seen by more than 30,000 people, returns this year through social networks, guaranteeing safety and compliance with the sanitary protocol.
Its two protagonists will once again be the Town Hall Clockmaker and his assistant the Angel, played by the voices of Julio Navarro, actor and theater director, and Clara Morata, an 11-year-old girl from Murcia. The Christmas Carol tells the story of an old clockmaker who, after almost 800 years taking care of the Town Hall clock, loses time just before Christmas begins.
The watchmaker, together with the angel, recall the passing of the seasons, the values ??of Christmas and the celebration of these festivities in Murcia, which, this year, are happening differently due to the health crisis. Christmas Carol Song The story has an exclusive song composed specifically for Christmas in Murcia, performed by Carmes , winner of the CreaMurcia 2019, in the modality of Author's Song, and lvaro Halley. This project has brought together young Murcian talent with the participation of designers, composers, production team and direction, who have worked to shape one of the most special and magical shows of Christmas in Murcia.
