A fundamental part of the MiMurcia Smart City Platform is the generation and processing of information for making it available to companies through Big Data and open data, thus facilitating transparency and promotion of the business sector and new business models. For this, an intelligence system has been defined that we have called CEUS (Unique Monitoring Center) that, among other functions, obtains and processes in a coherent way all the information obtained from the different sensors, and analyzes it through of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, facilitating the security of information and also the publication of open data that favors the development of these new business models. This innovation hub will seek transformative technologies, moving the coworking space with local companies from the technology sector autonomously towards the frontiers of innovation and digital transformation from the bottom up in the city of Murcia. Actions that are being carried out This geospatial context is present in an innovative project with the installation of the first Smart Plates for the public road.
Murcia is the first city in the world to have incorporated Navilens technology, an initiative framed within the Smart Murcia strategy. These smart panels allow all pedestrians to know the data on the history of the city's streets in different formats and languages, taking a further step towards accessibility as it allows people with visual, hearing and cognitive disabilities to receive information.
