Specifically, the emotional management workshop in times of coronavirus opens, the purpose of which is to minimize the effects and repercussions that the COVID-19 situation causes on the emotional well-being of families, and the '(In) form' activity, to educate in the consumption of networks and online information.As a whole, the guide summarizes the different Health programs offered by the City Council, aimed at both the educational community and social groups, with proposals aimed at children, young people, adults, women and the elderly, since “ Although the Guide is designed especially for the educational field, it does not forget Community Public Health, which is doing essential and essential work to defeat Covid-19 ”, added the Murcian councilor.More than 35,000 schoolchildren and 186 schools“Last year a total of 186 schools participated in the workshops and activities of the Health Guide - surpassing the figure of the previous year, when 130 were registered -, in addition to health centers and municipal community centers, reaching 35,187 students and their families ”, informed the mayor.Participants in first aid, use of new technologies and prevention of bullying are doubledDuring the 2019/2020 academic year, the most outstanding workshops of the guide were those related to first aid, the responsible use of new technologies and the prevention of bullying, whose participation has doubled compared to the previous year, reaching, as a whole, the 9,800 participants, compared to the 4,831 registered in 2018.Emotional intelligence, one of the most demanded proposalsLikewise, other workshops with greater participation during the past year have been those related to emotional intelligence, which promote emotional skills to know how to face different situations in daily life, which reached 4,400 participants.Promote the consumption of healthy food and publicize the Murcian HuertaEncourage the consumption of fruits, vegetables, legumes and oily fish, learn to buy and cook healthy foods, know the Murcian Garden and the Mediterranean diet, inform and prevent about the risks of alcohol and drug consumption, as well as publicize the consequences consumption of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and cannabis are some of the topics covered in the workshops in this comprehensive educational guide, open to all.Among the programs to prevent the consumption and abuse of drugs are also 'The adventure of life' 'Órdago', 'Let's take back alcohol' and 'Drugs through an objective'; as well as workshops on social competence such as 'I have my place in society, I want to be useful!'Open to all of societyParticipation in any of these programs is open to all of society.
