It will also allow the 191 students to use this space throughout the year.Thanks to the installation of the new roof, the sports court - which until now was uncovered, so it could not be used in extreme situations of rain or heat - can be used 365 days a year, at any time, since it will prevent entry from rainwater and will provide shade for the track.“We work to promote the structuring of the municipality through investment in districts.

In addition, the new roof allows cultural activities to be carried out inside the multisport court, where its lighting has also been installed.The works have also involved the adaptation of the existing stands on the track, improving their accessibility and condition. "The students of this educational center will have a multipurpose space that can be used every day of the year, which will allow promoting the use of this multi-sports court and outdoor sports," Felipe Coello reported.New covers in three educational centersThe Department of Pedanías and Barrios has allocated an investment of 578,885 euros to the installation of new covers on the sports courts of three educational centers: Nuestra Señora de la Mercedes de Puebla de Soto, CEIP Nuestra Señora de Fátima de Beniaján and San Pío X .In addition, Belén López stressed that “continuous improvement of educational facilities is, without a doubt, our priority.

Our responsibility is to keep these centers in perfect condition, so that our boys and girls can develop their academic activity in the best conditions ”.This is an action framed within the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, endowed with 14 million euros.

Specifically, the City Council has allocated 224,839.08 euros to this project.
