| The Governing Board approves the specifications of the Private Security and Surveillance Service for the activities organized by Celebrations and Parks and Gardens | The Governing Board has approved the specifications for contracting the Private Security and Surveillance Service in events organized by different services of the Murcia City Council.The aim is to establish the necessary measures to ensure greater public safety at these events, in addition to capacity control and compliance with health regulations.The companies must have accredited security guards and a company authorized by the Ministry of the Interior, guaranteeing the safety of all the people who come to participate in the festivities, the control of access to the events and the surveillance of the material goods that are used in its realization.In the case of Celebrations, different festive schedules will be covered such as Christmas and Three Kings Festivities, Spring Festivities, Murcia Fair, Folklore Festival, Murcia Tres Culturas and Festival de Tunas Costa Cálida, in addition to inaugurations, concerts and events in general that They can be carried out at any time of the year according to programming.As for the Parks and Gardens Service, the tasks will consist of the surveillance and security of the acts, actions or elements placed, structures, equipment and goods in general, in various activities carried out in the municipal gardens.The forecast of hours for the two years of duration of the contract to be carried out by accredited security guards is 8,658 hours, in the activities that are organized in Spring Festivities, September Fair and Christmas, in addition to other possible events to develop in areas green.This contract, in which a maximum of 298,702 euros will be invested for two years, will be carried out through two lots: the first, destined for festivals, parties and events organized by the Celebration Service, with 109,960 euros, and a second lot for the Parks and Gardens Service, with 188,742 euros.
