| This is the Mixed Employment and Training Program "BioRío", for which the Consistory asks the SEF for a subsidy of 304,609 euros | The Governing Board has approved in its session today to request a grant of 304,609 euros from the Regional Employment and Training Service to carry out the Mixed Employment and Training Program "BioRío" for 20 unemployed people, between 24 and 54 years old, for a period of nine months.This program, if the grant is approved by the SEF, will focus its actions on the improvement and maintenance of the gardens and green spaces of the Vistabella and La Paz neighborhoods, as well as the garden areas of the schools in these areas.

In addition, pest controls will be carried out in the surroundings of the Segura River in gardens and municipal buildings that are within the scope of this project.Other initiatives envisaged by this initiative is the maintenance of the gardens of the network of training centers of the Employment service, such as the Training Center and Employment Initiatives of La Fica, El Palmar and Alquerías, in addition to carrying out plant production work in the municipal nurseries of the Mayayo and the Malecón.At the request of the different municipal services, the students of this program could also carry out anti-covid disinfections in the Murcia City Council offices.In case of obtaining the subsidy from the SEF, the Employment Service, directed by the mayor Pedro García Rex, will offer technical assistance, during the six months following its completion, to the 20 students of the "BioRío" program to facilitate their job placement.The total budget for the project is 404,609 euros, of which the City Council contributes 100,000 euros (24.72%); and the CARM, through the SEF, 75.28%, which represents an amount of 304,609 euros.
