| This association brings together 150,000 people with disabilities and thanks to this agreement it will disseminate the activities of the ODSesiones project among its associates | The University of Murcia (UMU) and the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI) Region of Murcia have signed an agreement by which this association, which brings together more than 150,000 people with disabilities, joins the 'ODSesiones Forum'. This space, born in January 2020, encourages the participation and dissemination of the activities of the ODSesiones project, which is coordinated by the vice-rector for Social Responsibility and Transparency of the UMU, and to which the main economic and social institutions of the Region of Murcia belong. With the addition of CERMI Región de Murcia, the 'ODSesiones Forum' is made up of 13 institutions: Autonomous Community, Murcia City Council, Molina de Segura City Council, the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, Economic and Social Council, the CROEM employers.
and UCOMUR, the Trade Unions Commissions and UGT and the third sector entities EAPN Región de Murcia and the Coordinadora ONGD Región de Murcia. The signing of the agreement was held in the Convalencia building in Murcia, and the rector of the UMU, José Luján, attended; the vice-rector for Social Responsibility and Transparency, Longinos Marín; and the manager of the CERMI Region of Murcia, Pedro Martínez. ODSesiones is an initiative to promote the United Nations 2030 Agenda that is sponsored by the regional government, Aguas de Murcia, Bankia and the Cajamurcia Foundation.
