| The congress will take place on October 22 and 23 virtually through the Zoom platform | The University of Murcia is organizing this week the international congress 'Environmental vulnerability and climate vulnerability in times of emergency', which will take place virtually on October 22 and 23 through the Zoom platform. The inaugural conference will be given by Fernando Valladares, CSIC research professor and director of the Ecology and Global Change group at the National Museum of Natural Sciences, who will focus his presentation on the climate emergency as an expression of the Anthropocene. During the two days that the congress covers, various round tables will take place on Law and Science in emergency situations, on the construction of Environmental Law based on old and new principles and on the legal framework of environmental vulnerability. On the other hand, the European project 'Pro-Human Biolaw: Biolaw as a global tool for the protection of human rights', promoted by the University of Murcia through the Center for Studies in Biolaw, Ethics and Health (CEBES ) and the International Doctoral School (EIDUM), whose purpose is to provide public and private sectors related to Health, Law, Environment and New Technologies the necessary tools to offer Biolaw responses to the bio-legal problems of the modern world .
