| The center has launched the Contingency Plan, so, following the health protocol, it has quarantined the rest of children from that classroom, a total of 15 students, plus the tutor and a support person | The City Council, through the Department of Nursery Schools and Education, has activated today the health protocol against Covid-19 after the detection of a positive, a two-year-old child, at the Beniaján Nursery School.After the parents' notice, the center has launched the Contingency Plan, so, following the health guidelines, it has quarantined the rest of the children in that classroom, a total of 15 students, plus the tutor and one support person.Next, the Covid team has informed the municipal services of Infant Schools and Health, the latter being in charge of monitoring the case and the rest of the families.From this moment on, children and educators will undergo PCR tests and keep the corresponding quarantine.
At the same time, the classroom and the entire center have already been cleaned and disinfected.The Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools, Belén López, points out that, as in the previous case, “they have acted with total normality and coordination, as indicated in the protocol for Nursery Schools, so the situation is controlled.
