| After seven months of absence, girls and boys from Los Álamos de Murcia school begin a series of safe visits to the Museum | The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Francisco Pacheco, and the director of the Museum of Science and Water, Maribel Parra, have accompanied this Tuesday the first group of 5th grade of the Los Álamos de Murcia School in their 'safe visit ' to the museum.Over the next few weeks, every Tuesday and Thursday and in small groups, the girls and boys of all the Primary classes of said school, located next to the Museum, will go through its rooms to see the new temporary exhibitions, 'Nutrition, impulse vital 'and' Life adapt ', as well as to visit the permanent resources of the Museum: its Planetarium and the Water Room.In this way, the different schools can make visits to these facilities, previously arranged and organized and that meet a series of requirements.
Thus, the groups do not exceed 12 schoolchildren who, in turn, are divided into two groups of six that carry out independent tours and visit the Planetarium, the temporary exhibition hall and the Water Room with a monitor who attends and guides them for each room.During the different tours, sanitation tasks are carried out.
Pacheco has indicated that "we resume a certain normality in school visits to the cultural spaces of the municipality, thus allowing them to know their funds under strict security and cleaning protocols."The Science Museum has the specific SICTED diploma for facilities with good practices against COVID-19, after passing the external evaluation that guarantees strict compliance with a series of service, cleaning and disinfection, maintenance and management specifications.
