| Councilors Rebeca Pérez and Mercedes Bernabé inaugurate this training, which has a total of 60 registered students | The councilors of Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, and of Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, have inaugurated the course 'Initiation to European Projects for the Cultural and Creative Sector', organized by the City Council, together with the Ministry of Culture and Sport through the Office for Creative Europe-Culture and the European Citizenship Point.The course, which has reached the limit of available places with a total of 60 registered students, will be developed online over four sessions, from today until Thursday, in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m.“With this training we continue to bet on the initiatives of creators and artists from the municipality of Murcia, a sector that we have been supporting with competitions such as CreaMurcia, as well as from the Culture and European Programs services.
It is necessary that our managers know the possibilities that Europe offers us with regard to heritage, the arts or the cinema, in order to contribute to the creation of employment and the growth of the local economy ”, highlighted Rebeca Pérez.For her part, Mercedes Bernabé has contextualized this training in line with the Murcia 2030 Urban Agenda, in which the Murcia City Council is immersed.
“One of the great challenges that we have identified for the roadmap for the next ten years is that of the cultural model, but we must also highlight the involvement of Murcia in the European Urban Agenda, where we lead one of the working groups of the creative and cultural sectors, within the Consortium of Culture and Cultural Heritage, and where we intervene with three initiatives: cultural reagents, test tubes and the conquest of the street ”, he pointed out.The course 'Initiation to European Projects for the Cultural and Creative Sector will allow participants to learn about the experience of experienced managers and professionals who have developed international initiatives.Among the attendees, stand out young creators over 18 years of age, participants in the CreaMurcia Contest, as well as members of cultural groups, associations and companies, municipal technicians, students from artistic teaching centers and beneficiaries of the Reactivos Culturales program.
