| The Governing Board approves the award of the renovation works of this space, which covers a total area of ??2,248 euros, with a budget amounting to 269,346 euros | The Zoonosis Control Center, dependent on the Department of Health and Sports, led by Felipe Coello, will increase its capacity with the reform of its facilities that the company Constu Archena will carry out with a budget of 269,346 euros (VAT included) in a within six months. Today the Governing Board approved the award, through a simplified open procedure, of the works related to the reform of this municipal center that was built in the 80s and acts in the field of animal protection.
The Center has a total area of ??2,248 square meters.Specifically, among the actions, the construction of 16 cheniles stands out, which, together with the existing 25 and the 4 puppy parks, the center will have a total of 45 enclosures for dogs.
The space for the puppies will be conditioned with the renovation of the existing structure with a new metal one, the perimeter wall of one meter and the enclosure will be divided with individual sinks and light points.In addition, the project includes four new individual stables for equines, with infrared points and independent sinks, and the expansion of the space for cats.Likewise, the offices for customer service will be renovated and the operating room module will be improved with its expansion and provision of new spaces for veterinary care, such as an X-ray room and another for hospitalization, both with a previous lobby.The warehouse module will be redistributed into three spaces, one for machinery, another for toxic products and another for food.
Likewise, other reform actions will be carried out, such as the interior finishes of floors, ceilings and walls and other exterior rooms.Lastly, the project includes the renovation of the sewerage and supply network, as well as the interior paving of the plot.
Likewise, existing fiber cement roofs will be replaced by metal sheet roofs.
