The first-year undergraduate students have started classes today at the UCAM Murcia Campus, except for Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry, which they did last week.In this way, the staggered incorporation of all students to the lesson activity that began last Monday, September 21, is completed.Among the novelties for this new course are the launch of the degrees in Biotechnology and in Engineering in Telecommunications Technology (which replaces Engineering in Telecommunications Systems), both are taught at the Los Jerónimos Campus, and Dentistry in English, in Cartagena.
The Catholic University has programmed a 'bimodal' teaching model that includes 'online,' face-to-face and blended modalities, for which it adapts the most advanced physical and virtual resources, as well as 'adapted face-to-face' with rotation of groups in the classroom .In this way, it guarantees the development of teaching planning with all quality guarantees and compliance with current security measures. In this sense, it stands out that the UCAM has developed a security protocol against COVID 19 that includes all the recommended measures such as the provision of signage throughout the campus that facilitates the maintenance of the safety distance, the mandatory use of the mask, social distance and hand cleaning. At the same time, the University has scheduled serological tests for professors and administration and services personnel, before the start of the course.
