The Municipal Popular Group affirms that it has not deleted any comment from the City Council's Facebook account and reminds the socialist mayor that the new advertising policies of this company filter all comments that allude to the coronavirus From the PP they regret that the PSOE exhibits bad arts again and does not hesitate to try to trip up to go against a campaign against the Covid that placed children as heroes and calls for collaboration to overcome the pandemic The Municipal Popular Group has criticized that the councilor Ainhoa ??Sánchez uses her technological ignorance to put together a political criticism that lacks all support, by accusing the PP of knowingly eliminating a comment published by the pediatric mayor of Algezares on the account of the City Council on the social network Facebook. It is regrettable that Ms.
Sánchez's ignorance leads her to formulate criticisms that are absolutely absurd.
We are also saddened by the fact that the PSOE stands against a campaign to fight the coronavirus, which puts children at the center to thank them for their behavior and which seeks to encourage families to get out of the situation caused by the pandemic together . From the PP we consider that this way of doing politics defines the PSOE and confronts it with the hoax that they use so much to divert attention from the disastrous management that the Government of Pedro Sánchez, the leader of his party, is doing. The PP affirms that it has never deleted any comments and reminds Ainhoa ??Sánchez that Facebook's new advertising policies filter by default all comments that are related to Covid-19. In this way, in the information about its advertising policies, Facebook collects that "we apply a controversial content policy (...) to restrict content related to Covid-19", since they are associated with behavior that tries to take advantage of of the situation. It should be remembered that the comment published by the Algezares pediatrician went against a publication whose objective was to raise awareness in society to prevent Covid.
Therefore, Facebook's algorithms interpreted it as suspicious content and blocked its publication.
Here lies the true explanation of what happened and not the outdated and partisan version that the PSOE councilor Ainhoa ??Sánchez has tried to transfer. From the Popular Group we want to clarify that Mrs.
Sánchez's complaint can only be due to her technological ignorance or, what would be worse, to her bad behavior as a politician, but never to an attempt by the Government Team to restrict freedom of expression in the profiles of their social networks. We trust that for the future Ainhoa ??Sánchez will better document herself before making accusations that are unfounded and only seek to generate confusion among citizens for partisan purposes.
