| The protocol that establishes the beginning of the sporting activity, which has been published today in the BORM, highlights the creation of a Covid coordinator of the club that will be in charge of the fulfillment of all the guidelines and sanitary requirements | The City Council, through the Department of Sports and Health, has initiated the actions for the return to training of the more than one hundred sports clubs in the municipality of Murcia, once the protocol of the General Directorate of Sports was approved by which establishes the beginning of this activity in the Region of Murcia on the occasion of Covid-19.Councilor Felipe Coello stressed that "as of next Monday, work will begin with all the technicians on the relevant actions for its application." The regulations highlight the creation of a club Covid coordinator who will be in charge of compliance with all health guidelines and requirements, as well as supervising the proper functioning of club coaches, monitors and athletes, recommending the use of the 'Radar Covid 19 app 'and report all incidents that occur.Likewise, the clubs will be asked for a quadrant of the teams that will train in each time slot and a list of players and coaches of each team in which the DNI of each of them is included, for the purposes of mandatory control of access to the sports facility, complying with the indications for the number of players per group established by the regulations governing said activity.
Finally, a schedule for the start of training sessions for each team and group.“In short, the Sports Service will begin next week with the appointment of the Covid coordinators, according to the protocol, and the placement of the posters, signage and other indications for the preparation of the facilities, as well as the documentation required of the clubs ”, Highlighted Felipe Coello.Main points of the protocolThe protocol for the beginning of sports activity in the Region of Murcia on the occasion of Covid-19, which has been published today in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, focuses on regional competitions.Among its points, it stands out the prohibition of the public in the sports facilities or spaces, as well as those accompanying them in the development of said activity or competition.
Access to sporting events will be limited, with a maximum of five representatives per club, 2 from each town hall, 2 from CARM and 10 journalists.
In no case may the total number of 100 people be exceeded.
In individual sports, access will be allowed to one coach and one delegate per club participating in the competition.In all activities, training sessions or competitions, and among those who are not in the area or space for sports use, it is recommended to respect a social distance of 1.5 meters at all times, between athletes and other groups of people who are in the sports facility or space where the activity takes place.The use of the mask by federated athletes under 18 years of age and by refereeing teams during training sessions and competitions is recommended.
For athletes under 18 years of age, the use of a mask is mandatory in sports schools and extracurricular sports activities, which are promoted by municipalities, clubs, entities and private sports centers.For athletes over 18 years of age, the use of the mask is recommended in sports activities of municipalities, federations, clubs and sports centers in training and competitions.
