On September 19, the cloistered procession with the Virgen de los Dolores took place in the Parish of San Lorenzo.
The finishing touch to the services organized by the Brotherhood, thus celebrating the annual festival of Dolores around September 15.With the security and distance measures required by the current situation, cults were developed in honor of the Dolorosa de San Lorenzo, such as her veneration and the Triduum, during which the number 1 of MATER DOLOROSA was presented by Hernández Navarro, the imposition of medals to the new brothers and the procession.The venerated image toured the interior of the parish temple, stopping before the image of Santa Teresa, since it was the day of her feast when the Brotherhood was re-founded, continuing to the main door, making an emotional stop before the Cristo del Refugio.The Holder wore a black cloak as a sign of prayer for the health pandemic that we are living, clothing that the Arch-brotherhoods of the Blood and Resurrected graciously gave.Accompanied by the singing of the Stabat Mater and the general ringing of bells, the image carved by Francisco Salzillo entered the chapel of the Santísimo, returning to the main altar with the singing of the Salve Regina, breaking the silence with a heartfelt applause and an emotional: Long live the Virgin of Sorrows!
