| It is a hospitality entrepreneurship classroom aimed at unemployed people who have in mind to develop a business idea related to the hotel and restaurant industry, in order to help them and give them a professional vision | The Governing Board today gave the green light to the launch of the 'La Luz' Business Essay School, a project promoted by the Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, whose purpose is to professionalize entrepreneurs with a business idea in the hotel and restaurant sector.It is a hospitality entrepreneurship classroom aimed at unemployed people who want to start a business in the hotel and restaurant sector, in order to help them and provide them, through a complete theoretical-practical training, a professional vision.A training plan divided into three phasesThe Training Plan for potential entrepreneurs has a total of 171 theoretical-practical hours structured in an initial phase, to discover and learn about the project; an intermediate one, on knowledge and integral management of the business; and a last one dedicated exclusively to the cooperative project."With this initiative we want to respond, on the one hand, to the challenge posed by the creation of a business in this sector today; and, on the other, to the need to implement the training of these professionals to improve the quality of services and the image of destiny ", highlighted the head of the Department, Pedro García Rex.Bar, cafeteria and restaurant service to the publicTo do this, a part of the facilities of the La Luz Visitor Center will be made available to future entrepreneurs, a modern and functional three-story building, located in the El Valle y Carrascoy Regional Park which, after being closed during years, it will offer the public a bar, cafeteria and restaurant service.With the opening of this service, students will be offered the possibility of acquiring practical training and a professional vision based on a model of excellence that guarantees the quality of service, increases the viability of the business in the medium and long term and contributes to development of local and regional tourism.The new Business Essay School will be located on the first floor, since it has large terraces, unbeatable views of the natural park and Murcia, as well as a spacious audiovisual room available for public use that will allow companies and groups to perform different events.Future entrepreneurs may stay in the Essay School for a maximum period of 12 months.
In this way, the City Council will make an annual call and the Employment Service will be in charge of making the selection of the people who will be incorporated into the project.
