The theater and auditorium season starts with almost 140 shows, under all safety and hygiene measures (16/09/2020)

During the event, held in the Hall of Mirrors of the Romea Theater, the security protocol that will be developed in the rooms, launched on the occasion of the health crisis, was also unveiled."We have recovered a total of 70 performances that in March had to be canceled in the theaters and auditoriums of Murcia, rescheduling them and responding to one of the sectors most affected by the health crisis, culture," said José Ballesta, who added that "We launched a program that, despite the current circumstances caused by the coronavirus, is committed to the best quality, to excellence, inviting viewers to enjoy a varied and safe offer."The programming presented runs from September to December and is aimed at all audiences - family, youth and adult.

Of the 139 performances, 84 shows will take place in the theaters of Murcia (Teatro Romea, Teatro Circo and Teatro Bernal) and 55 in the Municipal Auditoriums, located in La Alberca, Algezares, Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres and Guadalupe.Regarding the performances of last season that had to be canceled, a total of 70 performances have been rescheduled, of which 30 are in theaters and 40 in auditoriums.

Those that have not been able to resume are responding to moments of creation or specific ephemeris that, in this quarter, lose their meaning.Specifically, the theatrical programming will start today, with three street shows, which will be held in the Auditorium of Parque Fofó, with the public seated and reduced capacity: 'Tea Time', by Cirkofonic; 'Full House', by Eléctrico 28, and Envà, by Amer i Africa Circ Ciaa.Safety and hygiene protocolThe City Council has implemented a safety and hygiene protocol in municipal theaters and auditoriums, which includes the following measures:-Mandatory mask.-Reduction of capacity in all rooms, with a maximum of 100 people.-The current safety distancing rules will be applied.

During the performance, this distance with the rest of the spectators is also guaranteed, being able to acquire isolated locations or two by two.-It is recommended to go to the room 45 minutes before the scheduled start time of the show.-It is recommended that the acquisition of tickets be made by telematic means or bank cards.-The entrance to attend the functions will be done in a staggered manner and maintaining the recommended distance at all times.-The departure will be carried out in an orderly manner to avoid crowds and guarantee the safety distance.-The entrances will not be numbered in the Auditoriums.

You will not be able to choose a seat: the hall staff will assign the seats in order of arrival, taking into account the grouping by families and cohabitants.Temperature measurement when entering the premises in the theatersLikewise, the temperature will be taken and the use of hydroalcoholic gel will be mandatory (dispensers will be placed at different points) and a mask at all times.

All attendees and the assigned place will also be noted; information that will not be stored or used for any purpose other than to give any notice if necessary.Actress Eva Llorach in Romea, winner of a GoyaThe Teatro Romea de Murcia will begin its programming on October 1 with the premiere of 'La perspective del suricato', an inclusive show by the Murcian company Cía.

Deconnè, which could not be released last season and which is the new co-production of the municipal theaters.'Andanzas y entremeses de Juan Rana', by Ron Lalá; 'Taxi Girl', starring the Murcian actress Eva Llorach, winner of a Goya, are some of the performances of the program.

They are joined by the postponements of last season, such as 'Mrs Dalloway', with Blanca Portillo; 'The children', with Adriana Ozores, Susi Sánchez and Joaquín Climent; and 'Viejo amigo Cicerón', starring José María Pou.The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM), for its part, stands out again this season for offering a program more focused on new dramaturgies, dance and contemporary circus, as well as children's and family shows that continue to be scheduled on Sundays.

Among the performances that the Teatro Circo Murcia will host, the winner of two Max Awards stands out, 'Shock' (El Cóndor y el Puma) ', directed by Andrés Lima.All the shows can be consulted on the web pages of the different theaters.

Tickets will begin to go on sale this Wednesday.45 shows promoted by Murcian artistsFor its part, the auditorium programming includes a total of 55 shows that will take place in the municipal auditoriums, with cycles of young soloists, theater, Spanish dance, concerts, tributes, competitions and children's theater.Of the total, 45 will be represented by Murcian entities, which represents more than 81% of the programming, a significant figure that shows the commitment of the Municipal Auditoriums project with the Murcian scene.The sale of tickets for the Auditorium shows can be done online, available 24 hours a day; and in person, at the box office –two hours before the activity starts–.

For its part, tickets for scheduled activities subject to the 'invitation' mode can only be collected at the box office of each auditorium, two hours before the start of the activity.Cultural Reactives in the Theaters of MurciaIn addition to the general programming of the three theaters, the public will be able to enjoy seven more regional scenic proposals over the next few months thanks to the 'Cultural Reactives' program launched by the Murcia City Council.With the aim of supporting the Murcian cultural sector in the face of the difficulties generated by the health alert for COVID-19, several lines were launched within this program, among which was one focused on the performing arts and seven of the selected shows can be seen at the Teatro Romea, the Teatro Circo Murcia and the Teatro Bernal.Los títulos son los siguientes: ‘Tacto patente / Patente de tacto’, de Terranova Teatro; ‘La divina tragedia’, un nuevo espectáculo musical de Bosco; ‘Malnacido’, un monólogo de Paco López Mengual llevado a escena por Joaquín Lisón; ‘La palmera herida’, dirigida por Juan Juan Manuel Chumilla; el espectáculo familiar ‘Chatungla’, de Teatro Silfo; ‘Una España de historias’, de Enkidu Teatro; ‘Pedro Cano.
