| Thanks to the granting of these grants, which amount to 8,000 euros, the rapid HIV saliva detection test can be carried out in the municipality | The Governing Board has approved the granting of a subsidy to the collective "Do not deprive yourself" for the development of health protection and prevention activities.Thus, the Department of Sports and Health has granted him a grant amounting to 8,000 euros, and that will be used especially for the realization in the municipality of Murcia, by volunteers from the group, of the rapid HIV saliva detection test.The Murcia City Council has a Health Prevention and Promotion Service that is aware of the need to adopt Public Health measures for the control of sexually transmitted diseases and, in particular, AIDS, since epidemiological data indicate a diagnosis late that can be avoided by performing this quick test.Likewise, HIV prevention, information and counseling programs will be carried out in a more accessible way.
