Culture invests 120,000 euros in the maintenance and conservation of the Museum of Science and Water (28/08/2020)

| The contract includes interactive modules, aquarium equipment, terrariums, maintenance of living species and conservation of scientific collections | The Governing Board has approved the specifications for the maintenance service for interactive modules, aquarium equipment, terrariums, maintenance of living species and conservation of scientific collections at the Museum of Science and Water.The Department of Culture and Recovery of Heritage will invest a maximum price of 120,455 euros for a period of two years and the bidder will be responsible for the supervision, cleaning, conservation and maintenance of interactive museum facilities and furniture, audiovisual equipment, aquarium facilities and terrariums, of live animals and of collections of insects, shells, fossils and minerals.The works will be general, continuous and preventive but also corrective maintenance, that is, the one necessary to correct unforeseen incidents and restore the proper functioning of the facilities.For this reason, the winning company is obliged to have a mobile phone available to attend to incidents 24 hours a day throughout the week, including holidays, and must repair even on holidays if it is an urgent repair.In addition, the contract includes the feeding of animals and their medicines, salt from marine aquariums, and preservative products from the aquarium and terrarium facilities as well as the labor required to carry out the maintenance.
