The City Council finalizes the works of the Works Plan in Educational Centers for this summer, whose actions are focused on the replacement and repair of deteriorated elements and specific reforms of masonry, plumbing and carpentry, among others.The City Council finalizes the works of the Works Plan in Educational Centers 2020, which will prepare these spaces for the beginning of the course.In this way, the Isabel Bellvis de Corvera school, with a budget of 28,720 euros, has already completed the improvement works that have consisted in the elimination of rainwater leaks that are produced by the roofs of the building and the repair of the humidity existing inside due to these leaks.Likewise, other actions have been carried out, such as the sealing of the joints and the improvement of the carpentry in windows, in addition to other specific masonry works. "We take advantage of the summer season to carry out a work plan that allows us to repair, condition and improve the elements of the buildings that, due to their use and age, are more damaged in order to offer the best benefits to the educational community" , explains Belén López.The City Council carries out a works plan every year during the summer season to improve the municipality's public schools.
In general, the actions focus on the repair of roofs, bathroom renovations, replacement and renovation of doors and specific brickwork, plumbing and carpentry renovations, as well as improvements to sports facilities.The Work Plan in Educational Centers is the result of coordinated work between the departments of Education and Nursery Schools, Pedanías and Neighborhoods and Sports and Health.
