| The PP spokesperson explained that "this attitude is holding back the generation of employment and the dynamism of the economy, by having projects worth more than 200 million in limbo "| Pérez: "We call upon the person in charge of Contracting to provide the list of the files that have failed to meet the deadlines for the Surveillance Commission to investigate what happened" The spokesperson for the Municipal People's Group, Rebeca Pérez, has announced that "we publicly demand Mario Gómez to provide the list of all the contracts that he has unjustly blocked so that they can be analyzed by the Special Surveillance Commission of the Hiring ". The mayor of the PP explained that "this attitude is holding back the generation of employment in the municipality and the revitalization of the economy, having in limbo projects worth more than 200 million according to the regional press.
We consider that this fact has serious enough to be addressed in detail in the Commission.
" For all this, from the popular group "we call on Mr.
Gómez, in his capacity as municipal contracting manager, to provide the exact list of all the files that have repeatedly failed to comply with the execution deadlines, regardless of the cause.
, so that what happened can be investigated within the Commission, "said the councilor. Pérez recalled that "this same request was already transferred in the course of the last meeting of the Commission held in mid-May without the documentation having yet been provided by Councilman Gómez.
For this reason, from the PP we reiterate our request and demand agility and diligence for compliance.
" Rebeca Pérez has detailed that "contrary to the attitude that Mr.
Gómez maintains, in the PP we have already contributed more than a million pages for analysis and review regarding the contracts that are being analyzed by the members of the commission.
We only ask that Ciudadanos act in the same way.
" As an example, the councilor has stated that "only with regard to the parks and gardens contract we have already put hundreds of documents on the table and in the Commission the corresponding technicians are going to offer explanations on the file that has been opened, as well as the possible sanctions to be imposed in case it is confirmed that some type of non-compliance has been incurred.
" The PP mayor, therefore, demands "correspondence with Mario Gómez and that he act with the same transparency that he demands, scrupulously complying with the processing deadlines for all contracting procedures, both in terms of their execution and in relation its launch and tender.
" For Rebeca Pérez, "we cannot accept that the development councilor has paralyzed building works, urbanization projects or private investments worth 200 million.
Among the projects that are pending are works that will represent the largest investment foreseen in many districts and others that will suppose the implementation of very significant improvements for the citizens ". Likewise, the PP spokesperson recalled that "Gómez has paralyzed the repair of vehicles that are used for the provision of essential services, such as those of the Local Police, the Fire Department, Civil Protection and the person in charge of the distribution of vaccines This attitude has caused serious damage to basic services for the neighbors.
