| The site is located between Juan de Borbón Avenue and Ambassador Inocencio Arias Avenue, next to the headquarters of the Spanish Association against the Cancer | The Governing Board has given the go-ahead to the demand mutation with transfer of ownership in favor of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia of a plot located in Santiago and Zaraiche that will be destined to the construction of a Health Center for improvement of the health provision of Area VI.Thus, Murcia will have this new sanitary equipment that will occupy a plot of 10,256.85 m2 located between Juan de Borbón Avenue and Ambassador Inocencio Arias Avenue, next to the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.The destination of the plot will be to house a sanitary infrastructure in the form of a High Resolution Comprehensive Center that will contain consultations and cabinets of different medical specialties as well as a diagnostic imaging unit with conventional radiology, CT, MRI and ultrasound, operating rooms, a rehabilitation and an advanced cancer treatment unit, among other benefits.The above services are carried out in coordination with the Morales Meseguer Hospital, and, therefore, the proximity to it is essential.In addition, and given the high flow of users expected, accessibility is a key aspect, so the location, very close to the communication axis of Avenida Juan de Borbón, as well as its size make it very suitable for the installation of this health Center.According to forecasts, initially a construction of more than 22,000 m2 will be carried out, including some 4,000 underground parking spaces with an estimated investment in work of around 30,000,000 euros, with the term of execution of this type of works around 40 months.The Department of Culture and Recovery of Heritage continues in this way generating and giving land to other administrations in order to expand and improve the municipal public facilitiesIt must be remembered that the Plenary session of last October approved the change of use of this plot in the northern part of the municipality, which, in principle, was intended for sports facilities.
