| The Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth has asked to leave the remunicipalisation of the service on the table to get its approval after the summer and guarantee the job stability of the workers | The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has announced in the municipal plenary session that the debate on the file on the remunicipalisation of the controlled parking service on public roads is postponed.In this way, the remunicipalisation file of the service is left on the table to obtain its approval after the summer with the consensus of all the political groups, thus ensuring the job stability of the workers.For his part, Mayor Ballesta has thanked the attitude of all the political groups that have prioritized the general interest over the individual and has stated that "the audacity of hope will allow reaching an agreement"In the coming weeks, the file will continue to be analyzed in detail, which will have to be included again in the Infrastructure, Finance, Economic Management and General Affairs Commission and in the subsequent municipal plenary session to be submitted to a vote by the municipal corporation.The objective of the remunicipalisation of the ORA is that the City Council be the one that directly provides the regulated surface parking service, obtaining greater flexibility and adaptation to new mobility models and better rotation and organization of traffic and parking, all of this always aimed at optimizing the service offered to citizens.The remunicipalisation of the service brings different advantages both in transparency and economic profitability, adaptability and response to the needs of citizens and improvement in optimization and quality.
