| The Councilor for Education and Infant Schools visits the school to supervise the improvement actions that are being carried out | The Murcia City Council carries out a Plan of Works in Educational Centers during the summer in order to fine-tune these spaces for the start of the school year.The Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools, Belén López, today visited the CEIP Torreteatinos, in El Raal, where various improvement actions are being carried out through a remodeling project that reaches 48,389 euros in this center.Specifically, the tasks consist of the reform of the toilets of the Primary building, in addition to the conditioning of the exterior flooring in order to improve its condition and other specific repairs in various areas. "With these works we seek to repair, condition and improve the elements of the buildings that, due to their use and age, are more damaged in order to offer the best benefits to the educational community," explains Belén López.The City Council carries out a plan of works every year during the summer to improve the municipal public schools.
In general, the actions focus on roof repairs, toilet reforms, door replacement and renovation, and specific masonry, plumbing and carpentry reforms, as well as improvements to sports facilities.
